Why Sellers Get a Live Link Instead of a Weekly Update Text
Sellers don't see your work. They see your silence.
KELLER, TX — Ask an agent how seller communication is going and you'll usually hear some version of the same answer: fine, I text them every Friday.
Friday is a long time when you're the one waiting.
Between Friday and Friday, a lot happens. The photographer confirms. The disclosures come back unsigned. The sign install slips to Tuesday. The MLS copy gets written, reviewed, rewritten.
None of that is visible to the person who signed the listing agreement. From where they sit, six days of hard work and six days of nothing look exactly the same.
The Real Complaint Isn't Speed
When a seller says they felt out of the loop, they're almost never saying the launch took too long.
They're saying they didn't know what was happening, and they didn't want to be the kind of client who asks twice.
So they don't ask. They wait. And the story they tell themselves in the gap is rarely the flattering one.
What a Live Link Does
Every listing in Get Listed has a seller portal — a single read-only link, no account, no password, no app to download.
The seller opens it whenever they want and sees the same picture you see:
- What's done, with the date it was done
- What's in progress right now
- What's next, and who it's waiting on
- The target launch date, and whether the listing is tracking to it
Only you check things off. Sellers can't edit, reorder, or complete anything. It's a window, not a workspace.
Visible Work Is Referable Work
Here's the part that surprised us in early use: the portal changed the conversation more than it changed the reporting.
Agents stopped narrating status and started giving context. The seller already knew the photos were shot Tuesday. The call could be about pricing, or staging, or the offer strategy — the work that actually needs a human.
People refer agents they can see working.
A seller who watched twenty-two steps get done on their behalf doesn't describe you as responsive. They describe you as organized. That's a different referral.
Two Owners, One Link
Most listings have more than one name on the agreement. Get Listed supports multiple sellers per listing, and they all share the same portal link, so nobody gets the second-hand version from their spouse.
Where It Fits
The portal is part of the same continuous flow as everything else: signed listing agreement, live on MLS, sold. You can see the whole picture on our transaction management overview, or read the full feature tour.
It's included on every plan. No per-seller fee, no per-transaction fee, no upsell.

About Get Listed
Get Listed helps real estate professionals manage everything that happens between signed and sold.
Because every listing creates dozens of questions. The most important one is: what's next? The second most important one is: what happened?
